For the past year, I’ve been experimenting with Claude Code in my everyday design work, also using it to vibe build personal projects. Along the journey, I’ve also shared several talks at companies and communities.
Those conversations reveal a fact that, for designers who are new to coding agents, getting started can feel daunting. While a few frameworks, examples, and ways of working can make that first step much approachable.
But once you begin, curiosity would drive most of the work. You try something, break something else, figure out why, and try again. Soon, the tool becomes less frightening.
So I’m sharing the complete slide deck as a reference for anyone who wants to bring coding agents into their design practice. Take whatever helps you get started, then adapt it through your own work.
One thing is clear: the best way to learn how to build is to build something.
